Our History

2002
Where it all began.

Co-owners Dale Driedger and Wade Miller team up to create Pinnacle: a community-focused staffing agency that deeply understands the needs and goals of the businesses and people it serves. This marked the beginning of a continued evolution, with a pledge to master each discipline before moving onto the next.
2004
Pinnacle launches our Executive & Professional Search division.

Wade and Dale set out to expand their services with the addition of our Executive & Professional Search division. They sought out the best Winnipeg recruiters they could find — many of whom still remain at Pinnacle today — with a commitment to helping Manitoba companies secure top talent in highly specialized industries and roles.
2008
Against all odds, Pinnacle emerges as an industry leader.

The tenacity and endurance of Pinnacle is more evident than ever before, as we persevere through a global economic crisis. As our competitors scale back on services, we expand our team and journey forward, positioning ourselves as Winnipeg’s premier recruitment agency.
2009
Our new stomping grounds.

Our fast-growing company needed a bigger, better space. Pinnacle purchases the historic Doctors Building in Downtown Winnipeg, renaming it the Pinnacle Building, where our company headquarters still remains today.
2011
Pinnacle breaks into the world of accounting and finance.

The next phase of Pinnacle's ongoing evolution was the creations of our Accounting & Finance division, formerly known as Accountants Now! Led by our industry expert Courtney Czezowski, Pinnacle develops a solid database of pre-screened candidates to ensure timely staffing solutions with proven results.
2016
Taking the leap into information technology.

The IT landscape is complex and constantly changing, but we're never one to back down from a challenge. Pinnacle launches our Technology Recruitment division to help companies big and small meet the growing demand for IT professionals.
2020
Adapting to the new normal.

In the wake of a global pandemic, Pinnacle continues to move forward and adapt our processes to better serve our community during a time of dire need. Through hybrid work models and the adoption of new technology, we never let go of our commitment to building strong relationships with every client and candidate.
