Our client, a well-established metal fabrication shop known for producing high-quality, precision products for industrial and commercial use, is looking for an experienced Welding Supervisor to lead their TIG welding team. This organization values craftsmanship, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.
In this role, you will supervise a team of welders and fitters, ensuring all work meets quality, productivity, and safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership abilities, hands-on fabrication experience, and a solid understanding of welding processes and overall shop operations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Supervise a team of welders
* Assign and coordinate work according to production schedules and priorities.
* Ensure all welding and fabrication meet quality standards and drawings.
* Monitor productivity and workflow; troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
* Verify correct materials, consumables, and procedures are used on each job.
* Conduct visual inspections and ensure adherence to welding procedures and safety policies.
* Maintain accurate reports and communicate effectively with management.
* Support training, coaching, and development of team members
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* 7+ years of welding/fabrication experience, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or lead role
* CWB experience (welding or supervisory) preferred
* Strong understanding of MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding on carbon steel
* Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
* Strong knowledge of welding stainless steel
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
* Shift Hours: Days
* Overtime available as needed
