As the Brazer, you will be responsible for using brazing equipment and performing a variety of brazing/welding techniques to piece together specified parts. WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Clean and prepare components for brazing
* Position and clamp multiple parts into fixtures and braze components using equipment
* Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings
* Determine appropriate equipment or method based on the requirements of the job
* Follow all standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and ISO requirements
* Other duties as assigned
MUST HAVES
* 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
* Previous experience safely operating oxygen and natural gas/acetylene equipment
* Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, conversions of fractions and decimals
* Excellent communication and listening skills
* Knowledge of WHIMIS
* Experience with LEAN manufacturing is an asset
* Welding certificate is an asset
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* $22.00 per hour, day shift
