LEAD WITH PRECISION. BUILD WHAT MATTERS.
Our client, a highly respected and well-established commercial glass and glazing contractor, is seeking an experienced On-Site Foreman to lead installation teams on high-impact projects across Winnipeg and surrounding regions.
Known for delivering precision-crafted curtain wall and storefront systems for some of Manitoba’s most recognizable buildings, this team supports every project from early design collaboration through to final install — and they’re growing.
If you’re a hands-on leader with a background in commercial glazing, strong technical know-how, and a passion for craftsmanship — this is your opportunity to lead from the front.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the On-Site Foreman, you’ll be the key field leader on projects — coordinating crews, working closely with Project Managers, and ensuring flawless execution from layout to final inspection.
* Lead and supervise glazing and building envelope installation crews on-site
* Ensure installation is performed to spec, on time, and safely
* Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and architectural plans
* Troubleshoot technical issues and adapt plans as needed
* Work directly with PMs, clients, and other trades to maintain seamless communication
* Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all OH&S regulations
* Conduct site inspections for quality control and performance
* Coordinate deliveries, manage site logistics, and maintain equipment
* Mentor and train team members to uphold craftsmanship and professionalism

MUST HAVES:
* 5+ years of experience in commercial construction or glazing
* At least 2 years in a supervisory or lead hand role
* Deep knowledge of curtain wall and storefront systems — including fabrication, layout, and install
* Experience with automatic doors, closers, and custom glass applications
* Ability to read technical documents, shop drawings, and blueprints
* Clear, confident communicator with strong organizational skills
* A leader who can coach, inspire, and set the tone on-site
* Familiar with MS Office; experience with project management tools an asset
* Valid driver’s license
