WHAT YOU’LL DO * Create detailed, accurate construction drawings for custom homes, duplexes, and multiplex residential projects. * Work closely with clients during design consultations, helping bring their ideas and visions to life. * Prepare drawings for a variety of residential new builds and renovations * Produce drawings using SoftPlan software that meet company standards and building code requirements. * Collaborate with the sales and design teams to develop creative, practical, and visually appealing solutions. * Ensure all drawings are code-compliant, precise, and reflect the company’s commitment to quality. * Stay current with building codes, construction methods, and design trends.
WHAT YOU BRING * 5+ years of experience drafting residential blueprints. * Strong understanding of the construction process and residential building systems. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable working directly with clients and internal teams. * Creative mindset with an eye for design and attention to detail. * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy. * Integrity, professionalism, and a genuine passion for residential design. * Experience with multi-unit dwellings or similar projects is an asset.
