THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a leadership role—not just a project oversight role. You’ll work closely with a team of project managers providing the steady hand and sharp mind they need to thrive. Your background will help bring structure, problem-solving, and clarity to projects with moving parts, remote challenges, and high visibility.
WHAT YOU’LL TAKE ON
* Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers overseeing remote construction projects
* Review and support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and change management
* Solve logistical and operational challenges unique to northern construction
* Build strong relationships with trades, consultants, government reps, and internal teams
* Ensure alignment with internal systems, reporting expectations, and construction standards
* Travel to job sites when needed to stay close to the work and the team
WHAT YOU BRING
* 10+ years of experience managing commercial or institutional construction projects ($10M+)
* A track record of leading or mentoring project managers or junior construction leaders
* Deep understanding of construction logistics, financials, and stakeholder management
* Experience with remote or northern builds is a strong asset
* Strong communication and leadership presence—you bring clarity and calm when it counts
