WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* 80% Design Focus
o Design roof and floor truss systems for residential and multi-family projects
o Prepare accurate, code-compliant layouts and truss packages
o Collaborate closely with sales, production, and operations to ensure seamless execution
* 20% Estimating & Support
o Prepare accurate, code-compliant layouts and truss packages

o Assist with takeoffs, pricing support, and design-related estimating
o Review plans and specifications to ensure feasibility and accuracy
* Daily Workflow Ownership

o Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight timelines
o Prioritize tasks effectively and respond quickly to internal teams and customers
o Maintain organized documentation and design schedules

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Experience in truss and roof design (residential and/or multi-family)
* Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and self-direct
* Highly responsive, detail-oriented, and dependable
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
* Experience with Simpson software is used, but not required—strong design fundamentals matter most
* A team-first mindset with a desire to grow long-term within one organization
