YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

* Consistently achieve production goals, on-time delivery, and quality expectations
* Improve efficiency, throughput, and cost control by refining workflows, layouts, and processes
* Champion continuous improvement through LEAN and advanced manufacturing practices
* Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and plant employees to drive accountability and performance
* Define performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and support ongoing training and development
* Promote a strong culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
* Track, evaluate, and act on KPIs to increase productivity and reduce waste
* Communicate plant performance, risks, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership
* Support production forecasting, planning, and scheduling activities
* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory health, safety, and environmental requirements
* Proactively identify safety risks and implement corrective actions
* Maintain effective preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
* Partner on equipment repairs, upgrades, and facility layout enhancements
* Oversee raw material inventory and coordinate with purchasing to ensure uninterrupted supply
* Support inventory management systems and process improvements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally within the millwork or woodworking industry
* At least 3 years of proven leadership or supervisory experience in production operations
* In-depth understanding of millwork manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials
* Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office, and production planning tools
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and develop talent
* Background in LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies is an asset
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, even in high-pressure situations
* Highly organized with excellent time management skills; proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated
