YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Applies Lean Daily Management principles to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and workplace culture.
* Leverages Lean manufacturing methodologies to optimize processes and standard operating procedures.
* Assists the Plant Manager with the day-to-day operational management of the facility.
* Oversees printing production to achieve cost efficiency while meeting established quality and quantity standards.
* Establishes, recommends, and executes operating policies, ensuring consistent adherence.
* Partners cross-functionally with all plant departments to align responsibilities and drive execution.
* Plans and manages workforce schedules within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
* Conducts formal performance evaluations for all printing employees at least twice annually.
* Enforces accountability for performance expectations and KPIs, including corrective and disciplinary actions when necessary.
* Leads employee performance management through goal setting, resource allocation, and ongoing assessment.
* Champions continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
Guides production teams to improve product quality, reduce waste, and increase operational throughput.
* Collaborates with the HS&E Manager to maintain a safe workplace and implement safety programs aligned with departmental goals.
* Actively participates in SQF-related responsibilities, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
* Upholds and promotes the company’s reputation by acting in alignment with core values.
* Participate in Food Safety Root Analysis and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, Root Cause Safety audits, validation, and verification activities), as required.
* Ensures strict compliance with all procedures related to the production of Safe Quality Food (SQF) products.
* Promptly reports any potential Safe Quality Food (SQF) concerns or customer complaints to appropriate leadership for documentation and corrective action.
* Upholds and enhances the company’s reputation by conducting business in alignment with company values, across all stakeholder interactions.
* Carries out additional responsibilities as assigned to support operational and business needs.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Minimum of 5-10 years of leadership or management experience in offset printing or a comparable manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, and internet-based research tools.
* SAP experience preferred.
* Demonstrates foresight, creativity, strong organizational skills, and a sense of urgency in managing priorities.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
* Possesses strong visual color discrimination, with the ability to accurately identify and distinguish color variations and shades.
* Provides trusted, values-based leadership with a forward-thinking, strategic perspective.
* Operates autonomously with adaptability and initiative, translating vision into decisive action.
