Join a mission-driven Community Services team as the Manager of Volunteer Operations, where you’ll lead the seamless management of the full volunteer lifecycle and oversee event coordination across multiple key regional programs. Reporting to the Director of Community Services, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional volunteer experience, from recruitment and onboarding to placement and ongoing engagement in the community.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Oversee the full volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment, screening, onboarding, evaluations, facility and community placements, and ongoing engagement.
* Act as the primary regional contact for volunteers, offering guidance and addressing concerns as they arise.
* Lead event coordination efforts, including reviewing, approving, organizing, and executing community event requests. across multiple programs.
* Support the onboarding and ongoing management of community and facility placement accounts, as well as program partnerships.
* Maintain the accuracy and integrity of volunteer and event data within the Volunteer Management System.
* Track program-related fees and manage invoicing for volunteer initiatives.
* Monitor volunteer engagement metrics and oversee the shared volunteer email inbox.
* Collaborate closely with the Community Services team, providing support for volunteer services across various programs.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
* Post-secondary education in Community Development, Recreation Management, Non-Profit Management, or Volunteer Management is preferred but not mandatory.
* At least three years of experience in a comparable role, with demonstrated success in leading and supporting volunteers.
* Strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently, stay organized, and effectively manage competing priorities.
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
* Proven ability to design and implement systems, processes, and tools to enhance program delivery and efficiency.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics CRM.
* Willingness to work some evenings and weekends and travel within the region as required, with advance notice.
