This is a potential contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is entirely onsite, requiring the Analyst to be present at the facility in support of production-critical systems, primarily their ERP and SQL database. This is an excellent opportunity to gain technical and business experience blending your hands-on experience and technical support skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Custom Tool Support: Provide support and maintenance for custom VBA scripting/Excel/Access tools used by administrative teams for reporting and automation.
* Liaison and Documentation: Act as the technical liaison between internal users and external software vendors (like the ERP provider), clearly documenting technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
* SQL Data Support: Write and execute basic SQL queries to retrieve data, generate ad-hoc reports, and diagnose data integrity issues within core databases.
* Tier 1 & 2 Technical Support: Serve as a point of contact for internal employees, providing timely support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues, escalating complex problems to senior IT staff or vendors when necessary.
* Understand the client’s manufacturing and distribution model to optimize system support and identify areas for efficiency improvement.
* Collaborate effectively as a team player with all cross-functional teams and departments.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, a diploma, or equivalent experience
* Basic experience developing and deploying robust VBA solutions in MS Excel and/or MS Access
* Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries (T-SQL).
* Understanding of relational databases and data connectivity methods (e.g., ADODB).
* Experience in applications support (Tier 2) or data analyst role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Experience working with or providing technical support for a manufacturing ERP system (e.g., FeneVision, SAP Production Modules, IFS etc.) is a significant asset.
* Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
* Success working in cross-functional and collaborative team environments.
* Team player with a willingness to learn the business
* Good verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and acting as a strong team player.
