This well-established manufacturing company is at an exciting inflection point. With production steadily growing YoY and a major Industry 4.0 transformation underway, they’re looking for an Industrial Engineering Manager who can lead their talented team through this evolution via partnership, creativity and genuine people leadership.
In this role, you’ll roll up your sleeves and work alongside a strong functional team who know their jobs well. Your mission? Extract and optimize the collective knowledge of this team, set them up in growing their capabilities, and collaborating with contractors and suppliers as partners.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
LEAD THROUGH PEOPLE AND PROCESS:
* Manage a diverse team of Industrial Engineers and Mechanical Engineering Technologists who are eager to grow. Your job is to mentor, develop, and elevate their capabilities. You’ll work across all levels of the organization; meeting people where they are and helping them level up.
ORCHESTRATE COMPLEX TECHNICAL PROJECTS:
* From robotic welding cells to facility expansions, you’ll coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. You’ll evaluate current processes, identify gaps, and determine where new technology makes sense.
BUILD PARTNERSHIPS:
* Whether it’s equipment suppliers, contractors, or internal stakeholders, you’ll approach every relationship as a collaboration. You’ll explore different perspectives and find solutions that work for everyone.
DRIVE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:
* This company is known in industry for their commitment to Lean Manufacturing and smart process optimization. You’ll analyze operations, create efficient workflows, measure capacity planning, and ensure quality standards.

EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS
* Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related discipline
* P.Eng. license
* 5+ years within a manufacturing focused environment
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Advanced understanding of equipment, procedures and standards
* Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
* MS Office and AutoCAD proficiency
BONUS: Project Management certification, Lean Manufacturing experience, and a background in process control/fluid systems/metal fabrication/electrical systems
* P.Eng. license
* 5+ years within a manufacturing focused environment
