WHAT YOU’LL DO
In this role, you’ll be the central hub between drivers, vendors, and the internal maintenance team. You will:
* Coordinate external repairs and scheduled maintenance with trusted shops
* Support drivers experiencing breakdowns or on-the-road issues
* Source and negotiate rates for parts and services
* Maintain a reliable network of repair facilities, two companies, and suppliers
* Provide occasional support at the parts counter when needed
* Keep documentation, quotes, and invoices organized and accurate
* Work closely with a team that values efficiency, communication, and keeping operations running smoothly
The position is based in the shop office and offers flexibility in scheduling (5×8 or 4×10).
WHO YOU ARE
You’re someone who brings both mechanical understanding and strong organizational skills. Ideally, you offer:
* Background in heavy-duty mechanics or truck/trailer systems
* Experience with parts, equipment, or industrial maintenance
* Comfort reviewing quotes and negotiating pricing
* Strong multitasking skills — you keep things moving without losing track of the details
* Solid communication and a team-first approach
* Confidence with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal systems
* A reliable vehicle (location is not on a transit route)
