With equipment, market demand, and customer relationships already in place, the company is now expanding into the commercial excavation space. This includes supporting multi-family housing, condo developments, and commercial builds within the Winnipeg market.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Reporting directly to the Owner, the Excavation Estimator will take the lead on pricing, bidding, and securing excavation work while collaborating with the broader utilities estimating and operations team. This includes drawing review, quantities, productivity analysis, supplier pricing, proposals, and post-award support.
* Estimate commercial excavation projects from first principles, including takeoffs, material volumes, and production pricing.
* Review drawings, specs, and geotechnical information to understand scope and risk.
* Prepare and submit tenders, budgets, and proposals for clients and GCs.
* Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and schedule data.
* Attend Monday estimating meetings to align workload and priorities with the team
* Support project handoff to Project Management on awarded jobs.
* Monitor job performance and profitability throughout execution.
* Engage with customers to support retention and business development.
