Take on a key role as a Consumer Lending Officer, supporting a trusted and member-focused experience. We’re seeking a professional with lending experience or related education, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage priorities while maintaining compliance and member trust.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Review daily and monthly reports, make informed decisions, and ensure timely follow-up to support member and organizational needs.
* Communicate with members via phone, email, and MS Teams to address inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide professional service.
* Assist members with lending inquiries by clearly explaining product features and handling routine requests with care.
* Respond to internal referrals and identify opportunities to strengthen member relationships through appropriate cross-department referrals.
* Complete assigned lending activities in compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures, upholding member trust and financial well-being.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Post-secondary education in business or a related field and/or 1–3 years of lending experience in a credit union, bank, or financial services environment; equivalent combinations considered.
* Strong sales and relationship-building skills, with the ability to identify needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly explain financial information and build trust.
* Solid analytical and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and sound risk judgment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
