As the Commercial Pool Construction Foreman, you will oversee the day-to-day execution of commercial pool construction and renovation projects. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide crews on site, coordinate with trades, and ensure projects move forward according to schedule, safety standards, and quality expectations.
The successful candidate will initially lead a crew of approximately five team members, with the potential to oversee multiple crews and projects as the company continues to expand its operations. Most of your time will be spent on site leading the work, ensuring projects progress efficiently and that crews are supported and productive.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Site Leadership and Crew Management:
* Lead construction crews on commercial pool construction and renovation projects
* Coordinate daily work plans and guide crews through project milestones
* Maintain productivity and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
Project Execution:
* Interpret scopes of work and construction drawings
* Manage project progress from excavation through final commissioning
* Coordinate with plumbers, electricians, and other trades working on site
* Ensure work meets commercial construction standards and regulatory requirements
Hands-On Construction Work:
* Form and place concrete for pool structures
* Install rebar and structural components
* Operate equipment such as skid steers or similar site equipment
* Assist with mechanical room installations including pumps, filters, and piping systems
Safety and Compliance:
* Enforce safety procedures and conduct regular safety talks
* Complete hazard assessments and ensure compliance with site safety protocols
* Work closely with the safety coordinator to maintain safe work environments
Project Coordination:
* Provide regular progress updates to project leadership
* Ensure materials and equipment are available to support upcoming work
* Assist with scheduling and coordination across job sites when required
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Minimum 5+ years of construction leadership experience
* Commercial pool construction experience strongly preferred
* Background in concrete construction, mechanical systems, or aquatic construction considered an asset
* Experience supervising crews in a field-based construction environment
* Strong understanding of construction processes including concrete, plumbing, and mechanical systems
* Ability to interpret construction drawings and scopes of work
* Understanding of commercial construction standards and codes
* Hands-on leader who leads by example
* Strong communicator who can work effectively with crews and trades
* Practical problem solver able to adapt to changing project schedules and site conditions
