Reporting to the Director of Facilities Management, you will lead a team of engineering professionals and serve as the technical backbone of an organization committed to continuous improvement, sustainability, and inclusive excellence.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS CHIEF POWER ENGINEER:
* Lead and manage a team of seven engineering staff in a unionized environment
* Oversee steam plant operations, hydronic boiler systems, HVAC, and BMS monitoring across 21 buildings
* Manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs, service contracts, and life safety compliance
* Monitor budgets, utility consumption, and cost-saving initiatives
* Act as part of the Emergency Management Team for building infrastructure response
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
* Valid 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate
* MOPIA Certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
* Minimum 5 years of building engineering experience
* Proven supervisory experience in a unionized environment
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills
