YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to establish and grow the company’s presence in the GTA.
* Prospect, identify, and secure new customers, accounts, and partnerships in the food and beverage sector, including hotels, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and specialty food service.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities for growth.
* Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, logistics) to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
* Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
* Represent the company at industry trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings.
* Serve as the primary contact for GTA clients, providing exceptional service and account management.
* Over time, expand the strategy and execution to cover broader Ontario markets.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the food & beverage industry.
* Strong knowledge of the GTA food and beverage market, with established industry connections preferred.
* Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, securing new accounts, and exceeding revenue targets.
* Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
* Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
* Willingness to travel throughout the GTA and, eventually, Ontario.
