YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 
* Strategic Alignment: Partner with the Director of Information Technology to define and execute strategic IT priorities.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Application Analyst team supporting enterprise applications and business units.
* Project Management: Manage the successful delivery, transition, and integration of IT initiatives.
* Application Maintenance: Oversee the deployment of enhancements, fixes, and system upgrades.
* Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with business vendors and third-party support agencies.
* Security & Compliance: Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with security best practices and policies.
* Risk Mitigation: Contribute to the risk register to assess and mitigate application risk to the company and its customers.
* Innovation: Propose and develop concepts and tools to maintain best-in-class service.
* Change Management: Maintain and improve change management methodologies for proper communication, planning, and testing.
* Knowledge Management: Oversee the documentation repository (policies, procedures, and drawings).
* Governance Input: Provide input into the governance process concerning project priorities, dependencies, and timelines.
* Architecture Input: Provide input into the overall enterprise architecture.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent experience/training.
* Experience: Minimum 8 years with enterprise applications and large project management (inception to delivery).
* Leadership: Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience (applications and people).
* Industry: Proven experience in the transportation and logistics field.
* Core Systems: Direct experience with Transportation Management Software (TMS) and strong knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
* Integration: Experience supporting applications interacting with IoT devices and operational equipment.
* Data: Experience with databases (SQL, Progress) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
* Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proven ability to manage multiple demands under pressure.
