YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
*Develop and implement purchasing and procurement strategies for materials, products, and services, including contract negotiation and management.
*Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
*Manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply, strong performance, and favorable terms.
*Oversee purchasing activities across a broad range of products, with a focus on cost control and value optimization.
*Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations within a complex supply chain environment.
*Manage incoming shipments, ensuring efficient processing, compliance, and timely delivery.
*Plan and coordinate transportation schedules using various shipping methods to support operational needs.
*Build and maintain relationships with logistics partners to ensure reliable service and competitive pricing.
*Collaborate with internal teams to support effective inventory management and minimize shortages and excess stock.
*Provide guidance and support to team members, encouraging strong performance and ongoing development.
*Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service outcomes.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
*A degree or diploma in supply chain management, logistics, or a related discipline.
*5+ years of experience in supply chain functions, including time spent in a leadership role.
*Hands-on experience with international sourcing and purchasing, along with a strong grasp of global trade practices and shipping requirements.
*Background in coordinating outbound distribution using multiple transportation approaches.
*Proven ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships with external logistics partners.
*Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in addressing complex operational issues.
*Well-developed communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
*Open to occasional travel to support supplier and partner engagement.
