Metal Parts Hanger / Overhead Crane Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Metal Parts Hanger to join our galvanizing production team. In this role, you will prepare and hang steel and metal products onto racks and lifting devices before they move through the galvanizing process. The ideal candidate is physically fit, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Hang and remove metal parts and steel products from racks, hooks, chains, and fixtures.
- Prepare materials for the galvanizing process according to production specifications.
- Use hand tools, lifting equipment, and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Assist with general labour duties as required throughout the plant.
Qualifications & Skills
- Car Required to get to Site
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working around chemicals, in a hot, and industrial environment.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is an asset but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
Schedule
*Must be flexible to move to each shift as production requires
- Days 7:30am to 3:30pm - $17 Per Hour
- Evenings 3:30pm to 11:30pm - $18 Per Hour
- Nights 11:30pm to 7:30am - $19 Per Hour
