YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
*Drive business development: Network with First Nations band councils, property managers, brokers, and adjusters to build lasting relationships and secure new work.
*Be the face of the company: Conduct initial site visits, assess damages or project scope, explain next steps, and represent the company with professionalism and empathy.
*Scope & estimate projects: Accurately evaluate property damage and project requirements, develop scopes of work, and produce estimates using Xactimate for insurance claims and internal tools for private work.
*Sell private work: Identify opportunities beyond insurance claims and pitch residential and commercial restoration projects directly to community leaders and property managers.
*Oversee field progress: Visit job sites to ensure work is being completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
*Lead the project team: Collaborate with construction managers, site supervisors, and sub-trades to ensure timelines, safety standards, and client expectations are met.
*Ensure compliance: Stay current with insurance protocols, safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality assurance requirements.
*Contribute to team success: Attend project meetings, manage AR forecasts, and support closing files while maintaining margin expectations.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
*5+ years of experience in project management – restoration, construction, or multi-family
*Strong understanding of estimating, scoping, and construction sequencing
*Experience with, or meaningful connection to First Nations communities
*Familiarity with Xactimate or insurance claim processes (a strong asset)
*Knowledge of water remediation, mold, or environmental work (an asset
