We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep and operations of multiple facilities, including hangars and remote bases. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee maintenance and operations for all company hangars and Northern Bases, ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained facilities.
* Lead and supervise the Facility Maintenance Team, assigning tasks, mentoring staff, and promoting skill development.
* Manage day-to-day maintenance activities, balancing administrative planning with hands-on support.
* Coordinate subcontractors and vendors for repairs, capital projects, and specialized maintenance work.
* Maintain accurate records and schedules through the electronic maintenance tracking system.
* Ensure regular upkeep and servicing of company vehicles and ground equipment.
* Monitor WHMIS and Dangerous Goods compliance, maintaining safety documentation and supplies.
* Oversee seasonal maintenance, including snow removal, groundskeeping, and HVAC commissioning/decommissioning.
* Support janitorial operations, waste management, and pest control to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
* Respond promptly to operational or weather-related emergencies, ensuring continuous facility readiness.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 
* Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team of 2–10 employees.
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with managers, coworkers, and subcontractors.
* Experience in one or more trades such as building maintenance, construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, or vehicle maintenance.
* Skilled in operating loaders, skid steers, and tractors for snow removal and grounds maintenance.
* Physically fit and able to lift up to 75 lbs (34 kg).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using maintenance tracking apps (e.g., UpKeep or similar platform).
* Flexible and self-motivated, able to adapt to changing operational needs, weather conditions, and schedules.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Committed to maintaining high work standards and completing tasks efficiently.
* Willing to travel occasionally to remote Northern Manitoba bases.
* Valid Class 5 Driver’s License – required
* Ability to obtain a Richardson International Airport RAIC Pass – required
* Forklift, Skid Steer, and Loader Operator Certificates – training provided if needed
* High school diploma – preferred
* Trade certification or technical training – an asset
* Clear background check – required
