YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
*Build and leverage strong relationships with existing clients while developing new accounts to drive revenue within targeted strategic markets.
*Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas consistently.
*Develop and implement strategies to meet both short- and long-term sales and profitability goals, maintaining a stable account base.
*Monitor market trends and adapt business plans to surpass sales targets while sustaining positive client relationships.
*Negotiate pricing and terms for short- and long-term supply agreements aligned with corporate objectives.
*Engage with business leaders and influence senior executives to support business development initiatives.
*Contribute to the preparation of quarterly forecasts, annual sales and marketing budgets, and 3–5-year strategic plans.
*Create tailored business plans for each account, outlining strategies to increase market share and achieve sales objectives.
*Foster collaborative, mutually beneficial relationships across internal teams, including sales, marketing, operations, purchasing, finance, and executive leadership.
*Maintain awareness of North American and global market trends and provide actionable competitive market intelligence.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
*Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of inside sales experience in the steel or metal industry.
*Proven “hunter” mentality with the ability to develop new business and leverage existing client relationships.
*Ability to build and manage a book of business.
*Advanced sales expertise, including prospect qualification, lead generation, strategic and consultative selling, negotiation, and contract management.
*Demonstrated success in acquiring and closing new customers.
*Highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial in approach.
*Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other relevant sales platforms.
